Bonjour Karen,

We thoroughly enjoyed our fortnight in Tourterelles this summer. From the warm welcome, including all the fruit, tea, coffee, milk, wine bread and butter, to the huge garden, lizards, hummingbird moths, trampoline, bikes, table tennis to the best pool ever we couldn't have asked for more. We loved this area so much, we came back for the second year and were not disappointed. There is lots for all the family to do nearby yet it is so peaceful, quiet, wonderfully rural and very French - there was even a field of sunflowers next door!

The property was very clean and provided everything we needed and even more. The welcome of the owner was delightful.
Not only for young children but also for the adolescent there was al lot to do. Biking, swimming, and chilling. We, as parents from the 2 families, had a very relaxed and joyful time.
Enough action within small distance, markets, beautiful villages, castles, cities. Perfect for a nice holiday.

Getting away from it all is the phrase that truly describes La Folie in winter. The house is just beautiful full of character and spotlessly clean. Everything you could need is provided. This is definitely an oasis-the sort of place you would want to keep secret but that would be too selfish - so we would definitely recommend both for a quiet winter holiday and for summer having stayed 2 years in a row - the pool is a big hit with the family as are the cycles, table tennis, trampoline - all used continuously during the hot weather. The chateaux and beautiful countryside are well worth visiting there is plenty of info in the house.
